2) Collection, storage and processing of personal data

By default, our web servers store the IP address assigned by the Internet provider, the URL of the website from which our website was accessed (referrer URL), the name and URL of the pages visited on our site, whether you used specific buttons or links such as download offers or videos, search words or search phrases, duration of the visit, used browser as well as date and time of your visit. This information is automatically collected and temporarily stored and will also be automatically deleted. If the visit is a result of online advertising such as, for example, banners or search engine advertising, we also record which banner or Ads ad led to our website being visited. To this end, XPLN uses cookies. This data is collected and stored anonymously, using a pseudonym.

The legal basis for the processing of this data is set out in Art. 6 (1) (1) (f) of the GDPR.

Where you are invited to submit personal information (e.g. email address, name, postal address) the submission of this information is purely voluntary. Personal data is only stored if you voluntarily provide it for a determined purpose, e.g. in connexion with a registration, a survey, a cost-free offer or the execution of a contract. XPLN might use the contact information you provide to us to update you on our products and services. You may unsubscribe from our communications at anytime.

By registering for an event, you expressly consent to our use of your personal information for the purpose of registration and automated processing of the event and, if necessary, to our disclosure of submitted information to our subcontractors. Otherwise, we will not disclose your personal data to third parties and we will not send you any advertising material from third parties.

The legal basis for the processing of this data is Art. 6 (1) (1) (a) of the GDPR.

Server-Log-Files

The provider of this website automatically collects and stores the following information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us:

  • Operating system
  • Referrer URL
  • IP address and hostname of the accessing computer
  • Date and time of the server request

This information is automatically collected and temporarily stored and will also be automatically deleted.

6) Analytics and tracking tools

We use the tracking tools outlined below in accordance with Article 6 (1) (1)(a) GDPR. With these tracking measures, we want to optimise and personalise your experience of the site. Furthermore, they enable us to monitor and analyse web traffic on our site to help us improve the website’s content. These interests are considered legitimate interests within the meaning of the aforementioned provision. Google Tag Manager

Google Tag Manager is a solution that allows marketers to manage website tags through one interface. The Tag Manager tool itself (which implements the tags) is a cookie-less domain and does not collect any personal data. The tool takes care of triggering other tags, which in turn may collect data. Google Tag Manager does not access this data. Google Analytics

Google Ads Conversion Tracking

We use Google Conversion Tracking to help us measure website effectiveness and thus improve our website. Google Ads places a cookie (see “Cookies”) on your computer when you access our website via a Google ad.These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not intended to identify you personally. If you access specific pages on our website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognise that you, the user, have clicked on an advertisement that we placed with Google and were forwarded to our website.Each Google Ads customer is assigned a different cookie. Google Remarketing

We also use Google’s re-marketing technology. This technology will display to users who have previously visited our site and shown an interest in our services, relevant ads for our services as they navigate websites that are part of the Google Display Network (GDN). HubSpot

We use HubSpot, a service of HubSpot Inc. to statistically capture the use of our website. The legal basis for the data processing is Art. 6 (1) (1) (a) GDPR. For this purpose, so-called “web beacons” and “cookies” are used, which are stored on your computer and which enable us to analyse your use of the website. HubSpot evaluates the information collected (e.g. IP address, geographical location, type of browser, duration of the visit and pages viewed) on our behalf in order to generate reports on your visit and the pages viewed.

Furthermore, we use HubSpot to process enquiries on our website. For this purpose, the personal data you provide is processed in contact profiles and, if necessary, manually supplemented by us in order to provide you with targeted information on your preferred topics.

We also use HubSpot to send marketing emails. This also includes the provision of content that you request via our website (e.g. white papers or webinars). For the purpose of designing and continuously optimising our emails according to your needs, we also analyse openings and clicks. 10) SalesViewer®

 This website uses SalesViewer® technology from SalesViewer® GmbH on the basis of the website operator’s legitimate interests (Section 6 paragraph 1 lit.f GDPR) in order to collect and save data on marketing, market research and optimisation purposes.

In order to do this, a javascript based code, which serves to capture company-related data and according website usage. The data captured using this technology are encrypted in a non-retrievable one-way function (so-called hashing). The data is immediately pseudonymised and is not used to identify website visitors personally.

The data stored by Salesviewer will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required for their intended purpose and there are no legal obligations to retain them.

The data recording and storage can be repealed at any time with immediate effect for the future, by clicking on https://www.salesviewer.com/opt-out in order to prevent SalesViewer® from recording your data.
